THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. The 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Clinton Park for residents and families of residents of Findlay Township. Meeting place for the hunt will be at the Rainbow’s End Playground parking lot. As many as 3,000 eggs may be hiding in the park. Findlay Township residents, pre-school through 5th grade, are welcome to attend. Participants will be grouped according to age with prize eggs in each group. Pre-school children will receive goody bags from the Easter Bunny in lieu of hunting for eggs. Children should bring their own baskets to carry goodies. Hunt goes on rain or shine, however, in the event of SEVERE weather, check website - www.findlay.pa.us or our Facebook page - Findlay Township Parks and Recreation.
Immediately following the Easter Egg Hunt will be the 4th Annual Egg Drop Contest. Have your child bring a raw egg wrapped up in any kind of cushion materials they can come up with to prevent the egg from breaking when it is dropped. This is kind of like an Easter Bunny science experiment, so have your kids come up with their own ideas! Bring your egg with you to the Easter Egg Hunt - with your child’s name marked somewhere on the egg. Armstrong Telephone will be on site to drop the eggs from 20-30 feet. Any unbroken eggs will go to a second drop. There will be a monetary prize for all eggs that make it through the second drop. Let’s put on those bunny thinking caps!
