** Findlay Township's Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Recreation & Sports Complex at Leopold Lake on Route 30 in Imperial. DJ Tim will start the music at 7:30, Speedies Pizza and Kona Ice will be on hand selling refreshments, there will be free giveaways and the magnificent Pyrotechnio FIREWORKS starting around 9:45 p.m. Please note the Rec and Sports Complex (including the skate park and dog park) will close at 4 p.m. the day of the event in order to prepare for the festivities. For the safety of others, no sparklers, private fireworks or drones are permitted. Limited parking is available at the Recreation & Sports Complex, but Findlay encourages you to park at the Activity Center (310 Main Street Imperial) or Municipal Building (1271 Route 30 Clinton) - shuttles will be available every half hour from these locations from 6:30 - 9:15. Please note there will be NO PARKING ALONG ROUTE 30. RAIN DATE FOR THIS EVENT IS FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2019.
** Findlay Township Administrative Offices (Administration, Parks/Rec, Inspections, Public Works, Planning/Zoning and Tax) will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2019 for the Independence Day holiday. All offices will reopen on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. (Real Estate Tax office will re-open on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.).
**Delay in Trash and Recycling Collection - due to the holiday, Waste Management is on their holiday schedule. Please have all trash and recycling to curbside BY 6 A.M. ON FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2019.
