The 42nd Annual "Fair in the Woodlands" will be held in Clinton Community Park (86 Clinton Park Drive, Clinton) on Friday, August 17th and Saturday, August 18, 2018. Registration of exhibits begins on Thursday, August 16th. We're looking for entries of crafts, needlework, flowers, vegetables, fruits, canned goods, hay & grain and antique farm equipment. The festivities begin on Friday at 6 p.m. with the opening ceremony. Friday night look for Dan Meunier and his Steel Drum, the Semi-Great 5K Race & Fun Walk (this year with timing chips!), the Seed Spitting and Hula Hoop contests (not at the same time!!) and the Danny Magoo Band. Saturday starts out bright and early at 10:30 a.m. with our Parade on Route 30 followed by a full day of entertainment including Imperial Tang Soo Do, Karen Prunzik Broadway Dance Studio, West Allegheny Little Indian Cheerleaders, "Animal Tracks" and an acoustic performance by Jessica Sides. There will also be the infamous Pedal Pull and Pie Eating contests. Rounding out the evening will be a performance by Mad Mike's Blues Revue followed by fantastic fireworks! Want more?
