Right to Know - Video and Audio Requests
Title 42 Chapter 67A Recordings by Law Enforcement Officers was signed into law on July 7, 2017. The statute states in section 6705 (d) Fees "A law enforcement agency may establish reasonable fees relating to the costs incurred to disclose audio recordings or video recordings."
Based on the current change to the law, the labor involved in redacting and processing all requests, the Findlay Township Police Department has set a fee of $50.00 per recording requested.
